How to enable SMTP authentication in MS Outlook 2002.

Follow the steps :

STEP 1: Go into Microsoft Outlook.

STEP 2: Click on Tools.

STEP 3: Click on E-mail Accounts.

STEP 4: Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts

STEP 5: Click Next.

STEP 6: Click on your youremail@ad mail account.

STEP 7: Click on Change.

STEP 8: Click on More Settings ...

STEP 9: Click on Outgoing Server.

STEP 10: Check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

STEP 11: Select Log on using

STEP 12: Enter youremail@address.com for your User Name.

STEP 13: Enter your Password that you use for youremail@address.com.

STEP 14: Check "Remember password"

STEP 15: Click OK

STEP 16: Click Next

STEP 17: Click Finish
