Universal Theme Manager

What is the Universal Theme Manager? The Universal Theme Manager provides three different areas of theme management as listed below:

  • cPanel Manage Themes - This feature allows you to manage all cPanel themes that will be available to your end users.
  • Webmail Manage Themes - This feature allows you to manage all Webmail themes that will be available to your end users.
  • WHM Manage Themes - This feature allows you to manage all WHM themes that will be available to your reseller end users.

Manage cPanel Themes

The cPanel Themes Manager allows you to do any of the following:

Manage Themes

Steps
  1. Click on the Manage Themes link under "cPanel".
  2. When the page loads, you will see a five-column table, consisting of the following information:
  • Theme - The Theme column displays the name of the associated theme. Each theme name has a magnifying glass icon next to it. Click on the magnifying glass icon to preview the associated theme. An image of the theme in reference will appear in the window.
  • Type - The Type column for the cPanel themes should have the cPanel icon for each theme listed.
  • Clone - Click on the Select link to clone the associated theme. When the page loads, the theme you are cloning will be listed. Next, enter the name of your new theme in the text box provided. Then click on the Submit button.
  • Download - Click on the green arrow icon to download the associated theme.
  • Delete - Click on the x in a circle icon to delete the associated theme from the list. You will receive a confirmation message stating the following:

"Are you sure you wish to delete this theme?"

Once you have made your decision, click on the appropriate yes or no link.

Install A Theme

Steps
  1. Click on the Browse button.
  2. When the window appears, select the theme you want to upload. (Note: The them you are uploading must be a .gz file.)
  3. Next, click on the Upload button.

Addon cPanel Themes

Steps
  1. Click on the Manage Addon Themes link.
  2. If you have cPanel Addon Themes available, you will have several options. Each theme displays the following:
    • Name
    • Author
    • Price
    • Version (If Applicable)

Also included is a "Install and Keep Updated" check box for each cPanel Addon Theme. If you want to install the cPanel Addon Theme and keep it updated, click on the check box associated with the them you want to use.

  1. Once you have made your selection in Step 2 above, click on the Save button.

The Webmail Themes Manager allows you to do any of the following:

    • Download - Click on the green arrow icon to download the associated theme.

The WHM Themes Manager allows you to do any of the following:

    • Theme - The Theme column displays the name of the associated theme. Each theme name has a magnifying glass icon next to it. Click on the magnifying glass icon to preview the associated theme. An image of the theme in reference will appear in the window.
    • Type - The Type column for the WHM themes should have the WHM icon for each theme listed.
    • Set As Default - Click on the Set link to set the associated theme as the default them for your WHM interface.
    • Clone - Click on the Select link to clone the associated theme. When the page loads, the theme you are cloning will be listed. Next, enter the name of your new theme in the text box provided. Then click on the Submit button.
    • Download - Click on the green arrow icon to download the associated theme.
    • Delete - Click on the x in a circle icon to delete the associated theme from the list. You will receive a confirmation message stating the following:

"Are you sure you wish to delete this theme?"

Once you have made your decision, click on the appropriate yes or no link.
